Information You Provide
Search Queries
When a name, location, or other search term is typed into a third-party search box, that query is sent to the provider operating the tool. New Mexico Inmate Population does not keep its own jail roster, NMCD database, court index, or partner-search log for those entries.
Messages
If you send an email or contact message, the information in that message may be kept long enough to read it, respond, manage the request, and maintain routine business records. It is not shared outside the organization unless a valid legal requirement calls for disclosure.

Cookies
Cookies and similar tools may be used for analytics, advertising measurement, preference handling, and site performance. Browser settings can block or delete cookies. Some features or measurements may work differently when cookies are disabled.
How Information Is Used

- To support advertising that may be based on general interests or site activity.
Outside Websites
This site links to county jail rosters, sheriff's offices, NMCD pages, New Mexico courts, VINELink, BOP, ICE, county subdomain sites, and third-party search providers. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination site's own privacy policy and terms control the information collected there.
Advertising partners may use their own cookies, pixels, or similar technologies to measure ads or show interest-based advertising. Those systems are controlled by the advertising partner, not by New Mexico Inmate Population.
